He possesses close to two decades of experience in advising various Indian and MNC clients in transaction structuring, due diligence-related tax and advisory support services. Amit has assisted various clients in conceptualizing and implementing business reorganization/ restructuring based on various commercial, fiscal, and regulatory parameters.
Further, he has also advised large conglomerates on planning appropriate holding (including evaluation of various jurisdictions) and financing structures in case of business reorganization, mergers, and acquisitions. He has helped various clients, both domestic and MNCs, on smooth and efficient repatriation and exit strategies. Amit also holds key expertise in family succession planning and advising family offices and has assisted various Indian promoters in the same.
Amit leads a specialized team that exclusively focuses on transactions and corporate restructuring for domestic and international acquisitions, mergers, demergers, structuring of overseas acquisitions, outbound investments, divestitures, business sales, structuring of investments, family succession planning, and advising family offices.
