Shobu Yarlagadda is the Co-Founder and CEO of Arka Mediaworks Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading production houses, best known for creating Baahubali, the country’s highest-grossing film franchise that achieved global acclaim for its storytelling, visual effects, and franchise-building success. With over two decades of experience in the media and entertainment industry, Shobu has produced award-winning films, web series, and television shows that celebrate the richness of Indian culture and society. A graduate with a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University, Shobu combines creativity with innovation, leveraging technology to enhance the impact of media content. Beyond his work in film, he is a partner at Social Venture Partners (SVP) India and serves as a board advisor to Choice Foundation, reflecting his commitment to education, sustainability, and social responsibility.
