Indian businessman, investor, author, and former political and economic counselor Ravi Kanth Mantha was born in 1972 or 1973. Born and reared in Hyderabad, India, Mantha went to The Hyderabad Public School in Ramanthapur. In 1994, Mantha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Puget Sound University. Additionally, in 1997, the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) awarded him the CFA (chartered financial analyst) charter. Mantha started her career at Fidelity Investments in 2001 as a portfolio manager for a $1 billion fund. Mantha stayed with Fidelity until 2011, when the fund had increased to $34 billion. Through a mutual friend, Mantha was introduced to Srikanth Bolla in Hyderabad in 2012. Bolla and Mantha would go on to establish Bollant Industries, a company that uses workers with disabilities and no formal education to produce environmentally friendly packaging. The billionaire Ratan Tata supported Bollant in 2016. Bollant Industries was expected to be valued £48 million in 2022. Mantha’s debut book, All About Bacteria, was released by HarperCollins in 2013. Mantha served as a Bharatiya Janata Party political advisor in 2014. Mantha helped Narendra Modi with his election campaign plan in 2014. Mantha translated Modi’s Gujarati poems into English and released A Journey: Poems by Narendra Modi that same year. Mantha’s third book, The Baby Elephant Diet: A Modern Indian Guide to Eating Right, was released in 2015 In addition to Sage Sustainable Living, a store that sells the farm’s raw products, and Sage Farm Cafe, an organic restaurant in Hyderabad, Mantha and his wife Kavitha own and run the Baby Elephant Farm, a 17-acre food forest in Shankarpally, Telangna.
