ENTREPRENEURIAL ROADMAP
• 1997: Founding of Systel
• 1999: 150 people strong, 15m USD turnover company – handled exponential growth
• 1999-2000: Expansion – set up 7 centers across Detroit, Richmond, Amsterdam, London, Cape Town, Qatar, Hyderabad and Chennai
• 2000: Started diversifying and invested in Medical Transcription (MT); bought a US based MT company, built Transpandit, a transcription solution with all Business Intelligence tools incorporated
• 2002: Borne the maximum brunt of entrepreneurial plight, but fought with determination and perseverance. Financial trouble resulting in shutdown of associate branches; started concentrating on core business
• 2003: Established DST in India and started BPO operations from the Indian office, which saved lot of costs, resulted in increase of overall profitability.
• 2005: Sold the Medical Transcription company
• 2009: Started allied businesses – set up infrastructure company (Terra Infra) – the company consistently does Rs. 150 Cr
• 2010: Started Axis and Sierra to handle Wind Farms and acquired 650MW in Axis Wind and 15MW in Sierra Mines from Government of Andhra Pradesh
• 2012: Started Taare Inc. which is a technology startup in Santa Monica, CA. Developing content delivery platform to monetize social media.
• 2013: Started domestic IT operations which resulted in winning IT projects from GHMC and APTS.
